Reverb Scotland

Reverb Scotland took place on the 1st September and gave a platform to disabled musicians within Scotland so they could share their music with the world (and each other).  Reverb is a platform to promote and share – through the website – and an event which took place in Stirling.  flip are coordinating and developing Reverb with Artlink Central and their partners.  We are now busy gathering together all the outcomes of the day – visit the website soon for more information.

Reverb Project aims:

  • To consult inclusively with disabled musicians in Scotland, identifying shared and individual areas of concern/development for these musicians for the organisations (including the SAC/Creative Scotland) supporting them and for mainstream music organisations/venues.
  • To create platforms for disabled musicians to share their work, with each other and with wider audience, including mainstream and inclusive music organisations.
  • To develop an inclusive model of consultation that is art form relevant and which will allow for the creative involvement of all disabled musicians, regardless of access requirements
  • To set out a shared understanding of the particular needs of disabled musicians in Scotland between partner organisations, that can influence and support future planning.
