APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR DRAMA SCHOOL TRAINING FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES
Award winning performing arts programme is now accepting applications and enquiries for January 2016.
Access All Areas and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama offer a unique Performance Making Diploma. Running from January – July 2016 we provide an unrivalled professional training for adults with learning disabilities.
We are immensely proud to announce that we have recently won the Guardian University award for Diversity and Participation, recognising the progressive and unprecedented opportunity for adults with learning disabilities.
We are specifically targeting college leavers who have received previous training in performing arts or who show a real flare for performing. Do you have any students who are talented performers and will have availability to undertake a part time course in January 2016? If so we want to hear from you!
Workshop opportunities for your organisation
If you have students who might be interested we want to meet them this term. We would like to offer you a FREE workshop with Nick Llewellyn, Artistic Director of Access All Areas and the course convenor assisted by course alumni. This will allow any prospective students to have the opportunity to meet Nick and the past students, ask any questions and discover if the course is suitable for them.
Performance Workshop with Central Students
As part of an outreach project, three of our current students are collaborating with students on the Drama, Applied Theatre and Education course at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. This performative workshop will discuss themes of difference and change whilst using contemporary performance styles and approaches for a Theatre in Education audience.
